“Dear Heavenly Father,
Children are a gift from you, and I thank you for the ones I have. As much as they are a source of joy, as a mother, they are also a source of vulnerability for me.
I have made many mistakes as a parent, and I come to you with a grieving and humble heart. Lord, please shield my children from my ignorance and bad choices. Please forgive me for not always seeking the wisdom of God first when I began to deal with life’s issues.
Lord, release me from the guilt of not doing things according to your word. I have repented, I receive your forgiveness and I am not going to handle any new problems or issues the way that I did before. I am coming to the source of all wisdom, and that is YOU.
Lord, I give my precious children to you. They are unruly, disobedience and unresponsive to discipline. I know that if I leave them in your hands you can work a miracle in this whole family. Because I have submitted to you, we are all in your hands now.
Lord, bless me with the wisdom I need to make the right choices that will lead us to righteousness and a blessed life.
These changes will not be easy, but I promise to read the word of God for my instruction on how to handle every trial that comes our families direction, in Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
